Typical of Calida's convoluted and customer-oriented application of the law (the Marcos family being his customer even though his salary is paid by taxpayers like you and me), he invokes quo warranto in the context of Eugenio Lopez Jr. having been an American citizen and therefore not permitted to be granted a media franchise under the Philippine Constitution.

Why not just cancel the telecommunication franchise of PLDT and SMART as well as the electricity distribution franchise of MERALCO--because Manny Pangilinan is just a front for the Salim Group of Indonesia. Some lawyers figured out a way to make it appear that the Salim Group is NOT in control of these entities but, the fact is, they are--which is a violation of the Philippine Constitution. But the Salim Group gets away with it. That's because the Marcos family has no beef with the Salim Group but it has a long-standing vendetta against the Lopez family and Dutae is more than happy to oblige.

For that matter, why not also cancel the electricity transmission franchise of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP)--because even though it appears to be controlled by the Sy's, it's really controlled by the National Grid of China--another master of Dutae. Hence, NGCP is hunky-dory while China rapes our Exclusive Economic Zone in the West Philippine Sea.

Besides, does it really matter if a media company in the Philippines is a Filipino owned and controlled corporation? In other words, is the Philippine Constitution even current or relevant in maintaining this Filipino ownership restriction on local media entities, when the likes of CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera, HBO, etc. have been regular fair on the television sets of the Filipino household for years--not to mention access to an even more diverse universe of media through the internet. In other words, the Filipino ownership restriction on local media entities being imposed by the Philippine Constitution, which the likes Calida and Tanda are harping on, is NOT even relevant today.

Conversely, even if the National Grid of China is only the 40% shareholder of the NGCP (thereby complying with the LANGUAGE of the Philippine Constitution), it essentially has control over the nuts and bolts of the entire National Grid (thereby violating the SPIRIT of the Philippine Constitution) and can, quite literally, turn off the lights of the Philippines at the order of Xi Jinping--and we won't be able to do anything about it.

Calida (as the solicitous shit-eater of the Marcos family) threatens to sue NTC officials (who have manifested yet again their penchant to comply with the highest briber or, in this case, the gravest threat), who immediately comply with the issuance of the cease and desist order against ABS-CBN in the absence of any due process--apparently the first time this has happened in the entire history of the NTC. Talaga naman, precedent-setting government fuck-ups (plus the already unprecedented number and gravity of government fuck-ups) only in the administration of Dutae.

In the meantime, Philippine government media is airing "Wow China!" while Xi Jinping is raping and pillaging our Exclusive Economic Zone in the West Philippine Sea at the expense of Filipino taxpayers. It's all of the Philippine government media entities (i.e., government radio stations, government TV stations, Philippine government blogs including porno bitch blog of Mocha Uson, indeed the Philippine Communications Operations Office and Martin Andanar) that should be shut down for squandering our taxes on spewing propaganda for Dutae and China.

Calida is just another government kantutero leech screwing his fuck babe assistant all day long at the expense of taxpayers like you and me. He takes some time off pleasuring himself to do the bidding of the Marcos family, whose orders are coursed through another Marcos ass-licker, Dutae.

In contrast, ABS-CBN has been one of the premier public service entities in the country, which is particularly needed during the COVID-19 pandemic today.

Dutae, being the coward-scum that he is, is hiding behind Calida. In the meantime, the Marcos family, who is masterminding these machinations is sitting pretty behind the scenes as they revel in the suffering of the Lopez family. Wala nang mas masahol sa mga hayop na ito!
